Ava had her first gymnastics class today. (aside from the parent/tot class she's done a couple of times) I have to say, it was the cutest thing ever! And she absolutely loved it!
There were only 4 kids in her class, and two teachers! She got a lot of one-on-one attention.
Here she is kicking up to a handstand!

Getting ready to jump down onto the spring board and onto the green mat. (a pre-vaulting drill)

Here she is doing her stretch jumps on beam.
So concentrated!
Landing (and sticking) her jump =) Ava's coaches raved about her... I believe their exact words were "She has an amazing natural talent" Hmmm... looks like I might be spending a lot of time in a gym again the next several years.

Super fun! Look at that talent! And cute belly too! LOL! I think Ava would be a great gymnast! And would have a great mommy teacher too!

Ya, i don't really... at a young age I'm ok with it, because it's more recreational and develops a lot of skills that are beneficial for all sports! I hope she doesn't get too serious about it... but, if she loves it, she loves it! And I guess I'll become a gym mom. (not a crazy one though, LOL)
Ava is too cute. Looks like you have a natural on your hands!
