This is one of the prettiest time of year in WA. As they say... April Showers bring May flowers!! (and really healthy and lush green grass). Here is a picture of some Wisteria. Speaking of Wisteria... I'm excited for the season finale of Desperate Housewives tomorrow =)
The sun was setting over our house and this entire rhododendron was in the shade, except this one bloom. It looked really cool in real life, but didn't quite turn out in the photo. The rhodies are all in full bloom right now.
Purple rhododendron. I was actually trying to take a picture of a huge black fuzzy bee that was inside one of the blooms. It was carrying so much pollen on itself that it could barely fly. I kept trying to get close enough to see the bee, but it was getting mad at me... so I stopped trying. I decided it wasn't worth a trip to the hospital for me, or having to jab myself with Ava's epipen.
White Lilacs, my absolute favorite flower. And my lilac trees have hundreds of blooms on them right now.

I love all the pictures of the flowers! I always feel like such a nerd when I'm at the park or the domes standing over a bush taking pics, but they are beautiful photos to have.
