After gymnastics on Thursday, my friend Tara brought her 3 kids over to play. Tara and I had fun chatting for hours about football, school, gymnastics, etc. It was another really, nice sunny day with an uncharacteristically warm temp for late Aug (93 degrees). These kids played their little hearts out for 6 hours!!

Ava and Alyssa (Alyssa is on the level 5 team at the gym... doesn't she look like a little gymnast?!?!)
Tara and Carter being entertained by Natalie who was jumping like a frog. Carter thought she was pretty funny, and enjoyed all the attention she gave him.
Eating a pizza dinner. By the smiles on their faces, I'd say it was pretty tasty!
It was still over 80 degrees at 7:30pm, the kids had fun splashing in the pool as it drained.
That's one happy baby

Ava and Carter... you can tell Ava was playing in the grass all day, her legs were getting blotchy and itchy. Poor girl. Hopefully her baking soda bath, aquaphor, and benedryl did the trick and we don't see a major eczema break out tomorrow.

Yep, I was right. My kids talked non-stop about the blissful hours spent at your house. I'm sure I'll hear more about it as soon as they get up this morning! So fun! Caleb couldn't get over how an already awesome day was made even better by pizza and rootbeer. The kid was in heaven!

SO fun! Can'e beblieve you ahd to kick the kdis out after 6 hours while the pool was draining !LOL! To funny! Love the last pics of Ava and carter, you can really see their similarities in those ones!
As always it looks like you have hosted some great playdates! We wish we could spend fun afternoons with your family like this. Yes, your friends girls do look like gymnasts (and we should know right?) :-)
