Wednesday morning Carter woke up to the fire place mantel all decorated for his special day. Although he doesn't care now, this has become a tradition the kids really look forward to :)

That night I made Carter a special birthday dinner... some of his favorites: chicken, rice, squash, and green beans.

My mom made him a yummy peach dessert. Here we are singing happy birthday to him.

The kids picked out this musical instrument set for him, it has a drum, tambourine, maracas, and a few other things in it.
So excited about his yogurt puffs :)

It was so funny watching him walk around with this on... here he is giving me a big hug :)

I love your little traditions you do for your kiddos. I can't believe he is one already, I remember checking your blog that day to find out if he was a he or she :)

What a great b-day week he had..I'm still amazed that he's ONE!!! That year went by fast! Can't wait to see how much he'll change over the next year!
