Sunday we went to the fair for lunch and all the fun fair activities. Ava got her face painted for the first time :)
She wanted lady bugs on her face, and also asked for a lady bug from the balloon artist.

And how 'bout those Seahawks winning big against an NFC West team!! It was a great football weekend for Seattleites!

Cristian was SO EXCITED to try mutton bustin for the first time. It's actually pretty brutal, some of those kids were really getting tossed all over the place... into the fence, being stepped on by the sheep, etc. But Cristian wanted to do it. (he's on the left with my dad behind the gates getting ready for his turn)
Here's Cristian holding on for dear life. He lasted for 5.5 seconds before being thrown off. He was only .5 seconds away from earning a prize and getting to compete at the rodeo in the grandstands. Needless to say, he wants to do it again to try and make it for 6 seconds.

CRAZY!! you are daring letting him do that. We have not been to the fair yet, looking at your pictures I want to go.
I love the ladybugs on Ava's face, those cutey little bugs are a huge favorite around here!
And I have never seen ANYTHING like that sheep riding thing that Cristian did ~ that's crazy! I'm glad he enjoyed it and can't wait for the chance to beat his time, I wonder where he gets that driven nature :-)
