We had a great time at the Husky game and tailgate yesterday! Although we didn't win, it was a great game to be at! There were 70,000 enthusiastic and loud fans at the game all wearing purple which made the atmosphere so exciting. The Dawgs played WELL (against a Nationally ranked team) and they have improved drastically since last year. It's going to be a FUN season! Carter tried sneaking sips from everyone's cups during the tailgate :)

I thought of you many times yesterday. The Huskies really did do well. They did a good job of hanging with LSU.

I think it might have been early on in the game, but I saw something scroll across the bottom of our tv screen (while watching a different game) saying Washington was winning. I, of course, thought of you immediately and how happy you must be!! It's too bad they couldn't pull off the win, but it looks like you all enjoyed yourself anyway.
