These two were so excited for their first day of school that they woke up at 6:30am. Daddy made them pancakes while they took a shower and got dressed for school.
After they ate breakfast and packed their backpacks, we still had about 30 minutes before we needed to leave, so they watched some cartoons for a bit. I thought this was pretty cute! Ava pretty much copied everything Cristian did today while getting ready. She sure looks up to her big brother.
When Carter came over and joined them, Cristian changed it to Sesame Street because Carter loves Elmo.
Here are Cristian and Ava all ready to load up into the car and go to school. The sun light made the picture kind of looked washed out, I'm bummed.

First stop was Cristian's school, he needs to be there at 8:35. Here he is lining up outside his classroom door with his friend Bailey.
He found his seat and immediately started working on his assignment.
Hard at work at his desk. Two of his friends from his Kindergarten class sit at his table... Bailey and Collin. He was happy to see familiar faces!
After we dropped Cristian off, we (my mom, Carter and I) went to Starbucks and got a few groceries at Fred Meyer. We had about 45 minutes to kill before Ava had to be at preschool. Here's Ava outside her classroom door.

Looks like everyone settled in so great! Glad they had extra time this morning instead of being rushed, the first week will fly by I am sure!
