On Thursdays (starting today and continuing until the end of the school year) I will be watching my best friend from High School's two kids, Emma (3 1/2) and Caleb (18 months). Emma and Ava go to the same preschool and are just 5 weeks apart in age; it will be so nice for Ava to have someone to play with every Thursday since Cristian is now gone everyday. Ava was so excited to have Emma come to our house this morning, she started watching out the window right after she woke up this morning. My good friend Erika (Bailey's mom) is picking up Cristian at our house on Thursday mornings, and bringing him home from school which is a huge help! Here are the girls right before we left for preschool this morning. Again, Ava picked out her own outfit today. She wanted to wear this yellow shirt, with yellow hair curlies and yellow sparkly clip, yellow undies, and her yellow shoes. I think I've turned her into quite the fashionista. (actually, I don't think this is my doing... she seems to have come by it naturally!!)

Friends are wonderful! So fun for Ava to have a play mate!
I like Ava's cute matching instincts!! I think Alyssa thinks that more than half my work as a mom involves making sure their clothes match and their hair is done nicely :-) And it's really not that important to me, but to little girls it matters a lot!
