The Past 2 Weeks

It's been all too long since I've updated our blog! So, I decided to do one big post to make it easier for me to catch up. I will do my best to update the blog on a more regular basis like usual!! Here's a quick recap of our last two weeks. We've been extremely busy, but I haven't been the best at remembering to take pictures.
The kids really enjoyed helping me decorate the house! I love how cheery the house feels this time of year! These next 5 pictures are my attempt to get a picture for our Christmas card.

Kyle's birthday was on Monday. My parents and sister came over and we enjoyed a great BBQ steak dinner, and thank you Dad for braving the 14 degree weather to BBQ for us!! For dessert, my mom made Kyle's favorite, Apple Pie. Here's Kyle getting ready to open his presents.
On Sunday Kyle's parents came into town to celebrate Kyle's bday. We went out to lunch and then came back to our house for one of Kyle's favorite Holiday desserts, brownies with peppermint ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
Saturday December 5th we went to the Huskies final game of the Season against California (who was ranked #19). This was an all new experience for us, we've never been to a game in December before, and boy was it a bit nippy out. Here's the 5 of us outside of the Stadium, before the HUGE upset... way to end the season Dawgs with a 42-10 victory over Cal!! I already CAN'T WAIT for next season!!

Carter decided to hop into the bath tub one night after Ava had JUST gotten out. As you can see, he was already ready for bed that night... he dove in jammies and all.
I guess Carter thought he needed two baths that night :)

Our friends Nicole, Emma, and Ellie were in town visiting from Arizona for 2 weeks. We were able to get together for a couple of playdates, and Nicole and I even got to get out for some Mommy time and enjoyed a day at the Spa, did a little shopping, went out to dinner, and saw a movie.
