We got a jump start to our Spring Break by taking a weekend trip to The Great Wolf Lodge. When we got there on Friday, the first thing the kids wanted to do was play the Wizard Game. Here they are on a quest to find the talking tree.
Ava found the Book of Spells. It took us a little while to figure out this game and learn all the tricks and secrets. It's basically like an interactive video game that takes you all over the hotel. You learn as you go, and it's a lot of fun, and better than sitting in front of a tv playing video games. Atleast with this one... you're walking all over the place, up and down flights of stairs (because several of the clues are in stair ways so you can't cheat and take the elevator, LOL) and up and down hallways. It's GREAT!!
Saturday morning after breakfast the kids were ready to go to the water park. Ava and my mom were dressed in color coordinating swim wear =)

There are a lot of toys that squirt, so you have to fully expect to get wet when you walk through this area. (which is why I don't have tons of pictures of the kids playing around, LOL)

That night... back to the wizard game (in our jammies =) We really caught on and all the players (Cristian, Ava, and Auntie) actually completed all 10 quests, collected all the treasure, and defeated the dragon to become Master Magi's. All three of their wizard names (Merlin, Boo Too, and White Wolf) were on the reader board for the day's Top Scores! Here they are battling the dragon, hoping to Complete their quest!!

Sunday morning. At Christmas we bought the kids these wands for the game, and now they sell different "Topers" and accessories for them. They're always coming up with "new" stuff for people to buy! Ava picked a Unicorn topper and Cristian picked a Red Dragon topper to accessorize their wands.
Sunday we also decided to check out the Cubs Club, they have a lot of different arts and craft projects the kids can do, computer games, a playhouse, and reading corder... here they are reading stories with daddy.
