Cristian got a hair cut today. We were gonna grow it out Surfer Style... but it got to that in between stage and it was driving Cristian nuts.
Probably feels a lot cooler to have short hair in this heat wave we're having... It's a bit shorter then we normally go, but it should be the perfect length when school starts in about a month.

Her thinking face... she definitely gets this face from me. People often think I'm scowling...when I'm really just deep in thought :) Right after I took this picture, she asked me where all the garbage goes once the Garbage Man picks it up. I just knew she was thinking of something... (Juj-I know you can relate to this face too :)

Playdate Central

We've had a lot of playdates at our house with family and friends who are trying to escape the heat... we had cousins Kyle, Carly, Clair and Marcus over for dinner one night.
And Aunt Lisa, cousins Paula, Abby and Abby's friend Anna came and played on the water slide.
After we dunked Carter in the pool, Aunt Lisa mow-hawked Carter's hair, LOL.

Today took the cake, though... 108 degrees at our house. The news said that it was 112 in Pacific today. WOWZERS!

We also had our friends Lisa, Kydin, Adilyn and Maycin over. Here are the oldest four playing on the water slide. Lisa's girls LOVED it!!

Swim Lessons

We've been doing swim lessons again the past 2 weeks... tomorrow is the last day of the session. This session was really fun because Case and Wyatt were there too at that same time... so Carter and I had Dawn to talk to :)
The kids before swim lessons. Cristian and Ava are doing really well in their lessons, but unfortunately both of them have a case of Swimmers Ear :( We've been doing A LOT of swimming and water activities lately.
Wow... only took 3 attempts to get all 4 of them looking at the camera :)

Case's Birthday Party 7/27/09

On Monday, we went to Case's bday party. Here's Cristian playing on a blow up slide.
Ava wasn't feeling very well... her ears were hurting really bad. I ended up having to take her to the doctor :( poor girl. But she still was willing to smile at the camera :)

Weekend Trip to Yakima

Saturday after the kids' baseball games, we headed over to Yakima to visit Kyle's family and some of our friends. The kids wanted to wear their baseball jerseys to show Grandma Gina and Grandpa Larry :) Grandma and Grandpa bought little golf sets for the kids to play with, here they are trying them out in their backyard.
