The Great White Turkey

The Great White Turkey paid a visit to our house and left goodies in the oven for the kids :)

Cristian found his new webkinz and was so excited! A Thanksgiving Turkey that he named Gobble.

Thanksgiving Day Feasts

Tuesday before Thanksgiving both kids had a Thanksgiving Day Feast/Celebration at their schools. Carter and I joined Ava at her Party, we watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
And then enjoyed a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast... toast, popcorn, pretzels, and jelly beans.

Cristian also had his Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday, and because it was the last day of school before the Apple Cup, they also had College Team Spirit day. Cristian was so excited to show off his Husky Pride!! He was dressed in Husky attire from head to toe!

New Moon

I am really behind on my posts right now, but plan to get caught up by the end of the evening! Mommy and Ava

I look forward to the red Starbucks Christmas cups and the Christmas Coke cans every year :) I really think my drinks taste just a wee bit better like this!!

Ava's Show

This afternoon, Ava wanted to put on a gymnastics show for Carter and I. Here she is demonstrating her handstand. Such a strong little girl! I told her on her next one she should try and get her legs together...
and she did it :) So, then I told her she should try and get her legs together, and keep them really straight.
And she did it. She really has amazing body awareness for someone her age!

Silly Girl

Ava's idea of cleaning the playroom is putting on everything she finds on the floor instead of put it away. I've come in the playroom before to find her wear a princess dress, with a pirate hat, and buzz light year gloves.
Today she had her princess minnie hat on with a pair of her gloves, and some princess shoes (although I just realized the shoes aren't in the picture :) Funny girl.

Dinner with cousins

Monday night, my cousin Kyle and his wife Carly hosted a "Cousin's With Kids" dinner. The kids had a great time playing with all their cousins and us older cousins enjoyed many laughs and some great food! Here are 6 of the 8 kids that were there... Cristian, Clair, Tori, Marcus, Ava, and Joeli. (Cami and Carter were also there, but still aren't big enough to sit at the kid table :)

Gymnastics

Since Kyle had the day off today, I took the time to fix Ava's hair really cute for gymnastics (I was practicing for her gymnastics meet that is in a couple of weeks:) She told me she wanted 6 pigtails in her hair. We also curled the pony tails with a curling iron, and put a little sparkles in it too. She looked so darn cute :)
