Ava waiting while we were checking into the hotel... she kept saying, "Let's get the party started, uh huh, uh huh!"

Close up of Carter... his First New Year celebration in Seattle.

Me and Carter walking to dinner. New Year's Eve is also the anniversary of when Kyle and I got engaged. Can't believe that was 7 years ago... a lot has happened since then!

Our Family. We ate dinner at Tulio's, they had a special New Year's Eve menu, the food was excellent! I was impressed, my kids did well at a nicer restaurant. I think it's important for them to learn manners and proper etiquette.

Celebrating, and waiting for midnight to roll around. What a lively bunch ;-)

Cheers, Happy New Year Cristian.

Just about 20 more minutes until midnight!!

Sleepy Ava

This picture cracks me up... my poor kids were like zombies at midnight. Because the weather was so nasty (freezing cold, windy, and sporadic rain showers...typical Seattle winter day) We decided to celebrate the new year at our hotel. They opened up the lounge on the top floor, and they served hors d'oeuvres and drinks. They passed out those blowers and hats, and had black and silver balloons, it was quite festive. Here they are waiting for the firework show to start... (about 3 minutes before midnight)

Firework Show...pretty cool!

Group shot just after midnight... Happy New Year!!

Nannie with the kids watching the Rose Parade New Year's morning.

My aunt Beth and family watched Mia for us... we stopped by her house on our way home and the kids enjoyed playing with cousin Samantha's bird. Ava wasn't too sure about it being on her, she liked it better from afar.

Cristian loved the bird.
