My baby is growing up too fast! Not even 5 months old yet and starting to sit up by himself.
He is fascinated with the carpet. When he does tummy time, he tries to eat it, and when he sits, he tries to get a handful of it.

I took my little camera to preschool on Monday because I haven't taken any pictures of Ava at school yet. Ava loves her preschool class, and looks forward to Mondays when she gets to go. Here she is playing in the sensory table. This week they had rice and kitchen gadgets in there.

I drive by this billboard sign all the time and always think that this picture looks a lot like my 2 boys. It's really hard to tell because the picture was taken on my cell phone and it's not a close up picture. But if you're ever driving on River Road... take a look for yourself.
This past week, we played outside a lot and also walked to pick up Cristian at Kindergarten. It was so nice to have a week of pleasant temperatures. I think Carter has a sweet little face in this picture... he was hanging out while the kids were riding bikes.
Cristian loves riding his bike around our cul de sac and to the park. January marked the one year anniversary of Cristian learning to ride his bike without training wheels. Hard to believe that was a year ago already...doesn't seem that long ago.

We started packing this weekend, Ava brought out her pillow, blanket, and 2 stuffed friends and made a little bed in her suitcase.

Ava decided she wants to ride a big bike like Cristian... here she is on Cristian's first bicycle. She was so proud of herself.
Now I have two of them riding bikes all around our neighborhood... I think we'll be going on lots of bike rides this summer!!

We painted our toe nails and have been wearing capris today... we have Spring Fever. (Is it just me or are her legs and feet just like mine?)
On Monday, I brought out the Johnny Jumper for Carter to see if he liked playing in it. He's just about outgrown his playmat and his bouncy seat, (when I put him on the playmat, I'll come back and he's off of it or has completely flipped himself around). I thought this would be a fun new activity for him to do while I cook dinner or unload the dishwasher.
And he LOVES it... he just jumps his little heart out in there.

The past couple of days have been so nice out, so we have been walking to go get Cristian at Kindergarten. 
On Monday we were a little bit early so Ava played on the big toy at Cristian's school. 
She kept saying "I love these recess toys" (not even in school yet, but already looking forward to having recess when she is)
She just looks so big to me... when did that happen.
