Princess Make Over Party

Monday after gymnastics, Ava's friend Natalie came over to play for awhile. Tara (Natalie's mom) and I were just dying watching them play with Ava's princess vanity. They were being so CUTE!! and so GIRLY!!

Family Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Sunday after church we decided to take the kids to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins! It was a gorgeous day, so everyone and their mother was there too... so we decided to wait and come back sometime to do the corn maze and other activities. But it was a fun family day! UW vs Arizona

Since the Husky game didn't start until 7:15pm, we went up to Seattle a little early and did some shopping at the UW Bookstore. Here are my mom and sister walking through campus. The leaves are so pretty this time of year!

Such a beautiful campus! Hard to believe it's been 8.5 years since I was in college walking around here regularly!!
The Quad. In the fall it is full of colorful leaves changing, and in the spring it's full of pink cherry blossom trees. It's probably the most picturesque spot on campus.

The Birthday cake for the Fall Birthday Girl Cousins in our family (there are 2 boys too in the fam w/ Oct Birthdays, but they weren't there) Here they are in order by date: Christina-Oct 9th, Joeli-Oct 11th, Michelle-Oct 13th, Emily-Oct 15th, Tricia-Oct 16th, and Megan-Oct 30th. It's so fun to have so many cousins to celebrate with!
Perhaps one of the most dramatic late 4th quarter come backs ever!!! Huskies were down by 12 points with 4:22 left in the game and we ended up winning by 3. What a FINISH!!! YAY HUSKIES!!!!! We're so happy to be winning games this year... 3-3 is looking pretty good right now.

Happy Birthday Joeli and Christina

Saturday we went to Joeli's 2nd birthday party! Seems like yesterday Ava and I flew to Oklahoma to meet her. Here's the bday girl opening her presents.

Friday Cristian didn't have school, so we took the opportunity to do something fun! It was a great day to be outside and enjoy the fresh air! We all thought this monkey was pretty cute!

It sure was nice having C home on a weekday so we could go do something fun without all the extra crowds that the weekends bring! I wish every week we had a 3 day weekend.

Carter's One Year Stats

I just realized I never put Carter's One Year stats on my blog. He had his well child appointment a couple weeks ago and all is well, which is always nice to hear! He's a happy and healthy little boy! It's such a joy to watch him walk (and now run too) around our house and interact with Cristian and Ava. We have to watch him like a hawk though because this little man is a human vacuum cleaner and will eat anything he finds on the ground. (of course it would be my 3rd child who does this when my house is now full of age inappropriate toys, like little barbie shoes, polly pockets, and legos!)

My One and Only Princess

Love this girl! Her smile is so contagious. And what a lucky duck... she doesn't have to share the title of PRINCESS with anyone else in our family!

On a very exciting note... Ava's allergies have been much better recently, which hopefully means she's starting to outgrow the eczema a little bit. She's been such a trooper through all of this!!

Starting to feel like Fall

It's definitely starting to look and feel like fall around our house. We have all our fall/halloween decorations up, we bought some pumpkins, and the leaves are starting to turn colors. I also have been enjoying the smell of my pumpkin spice and autumn harvest candles!

This morning we woke up and it was only 40 degrees! Brrrrrr. But by the time we left to go pick up Cristian it was almost 70 degrees. What a perfect fall day! I love that chill in the air in the mornings.
