Pictures from Emily

I got these pictures from my cousin Emily and I wanted to share them... here are the girl cousins in their matching pink dresses for Dane's wedding (Ava, Joeli, Tori, and Camden)

Here's Tori and Cristian (Ava following in the background) collecting all the little communion cups at Church.

These pictures were taken at the zoo when we were there for Ava's bday. This monkey and horned goat put on quiet the show, and was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen at the zoo. The monkey kept climbing on to the back of the goat for a little ride. The goat was not very amused about this however...

and when the monkey jumped off he kept trying to scare him off with his horns. The monkey actually thought this WAS amusing and would back into his horns on purpose as if he was saying "You can't hurt me with those things" This went on and on for awhile... the monkey kept jumping up on the goats back... the goat would get ticked and try and poke the monkey... and when it finally did poke the monkey... the monkey pinched the goat. It was hysterical. It was like watching two siblings... You probably had to be there to think this was funny... but it REALLY WAS.

Nicole's Bday Dinner

On Thursday, we got to go out to dinner and celebrate Nicole's birthday! We had a lot of fun and the food was great! Here are Lisa, Nicole, myself and Jenn after dinner =)

A Lunch with Royalty

Ava got to have lunch with Queen Melanie and (cousin) Princess Meredith today! The girls also went to Cristian's school for an assembly today and Cristian was SOOOO excited to see cousin Meredith and Aunt Lisa at his school! He got to go up in front of everyone at the assembly and say hi to Meredith and give her a hug.

After lunch I took some pictures of Ava because I thought this hat looked so cute on her and she was actually keeping it on =) I, however, forgot that my camera was still set on an "indoor" photo setting, so the pictures look extremely washed out and blurry, but I'm still posting them anyway.

This would have been one of my favorites... bummer.

Cooking Dinner

The other day I took several pics of the three kiddos together. I already posted my favorite one at the top of my blog... but here are some more of the cute ones. (Cristian is talking in this picture... otherwise this would have been my favorite)

Carter is in the middle of jabbering at me in this picture... he loves to say "Nu Nu Nu Nu" and "Mum Mum Mum" and "dadada" he's such a little chatter monkey =)

Cristian's School Concert

We got to go to Cristian's first ever music concert. It was so cute to see him up on stage, performing. The music teacher did a fabulous job! The theme of the concert was "Colors of the Rainbow" and the kids were supposed to wear a solid colored shirt of their choice. And Cristian's favorite color just happens to be red, so perfect. He is the 3rd one sitting in the front row... listening to the 1st graders perform.

A Fun Week

We had a fun, eventful week last week... my friends Jenn, Nicole, and I at our other friend Lisa's 30th birthday party.

Cousin Marcus had his 4th birthday party at the Odyssey.

Ava had a great time! It's so hard to get pictures of the kids because they're always running all over through the tunnels and mazes.

My cousin Meredith was selected to be her school's Daffodil Princess, so we went to the coronation last Friday. She's the shorter one in the middle =)

There's Mere Mere, a little closer up. There were 23 girls (one from each local High School in our County) They each delivered a speech and answered an impromptu question from the judges. Meredith did a GREAT job and received a $3,000 scholarship for being the 5th runner up. The girl who was crowned Queen was from Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, and I was really impressed with her.

Smiley Carter came with me on all these fun outings and did great! Yes, even I was a bit surprised that he sat through the 3 hour daffodil coronation without a peep...(because even I got antsy towards the end, LOL.) (he did take about a 40 minute cat nap in the middle of it). What a trooper.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We've had a fun St Patrick's Day... we had green oatmeal this morning, had our friends over for a playdate, and are currently getting ready for Cristian's concert at school. He is so excited to perform. =)
