Family Day

Sunday we had a very relaxing family day... we all went out to breakfast at the new Pancake house, and it was YUMMY!
Then we went to the party store to pick out someone's 1st birthday party stuff!

Afterwards, Carter and I went on a long, leisurely walk... he loves watching cars drive by!... and Kyle took the older two out to McDonalds and then to see the movie G-Force, and in Ava's words "That movie was incredible" :) It was a fun day

Saturday is Baseball Day

Arts Festival

Tonight we went to the Arts Festival in our town with Uncle Don, Aunt Denise, and cousins Julianne, Brady, and Landon. We all enjoyed a yummy dinner (and dessert!!). Cristian saw several kids from school that he knew and his First grade teacher! I saw several friends and neighbors too, gotta love a small town :)
The kids enjoyed the activities they had set up... especially the bounce house and Firemen's house. (the Firemen have a little house that they teach the kids all about fire safety... like how to get out of a house if it catches on fire, stop-drop-and roll, etc).

Crazy Sleeper

This is Carter's new sleeping position of choice. I lay him down for his naps, and go in 15 minutes later to check on him, and more often then not, he's sleeping like this.
Silly boy! Can not be comfy.
But don't worry, I fix him :)

VBS

Cristian had VBS all this week, everyday from 9-12:00. He had a great time and can't wait to go back again next year. The theme this year was Crocodile Dock. Today the parents got to come for the last hour and watch the kids preform a couple of the songs they learned, followed by a short church service, then a BBQ lunch.
Cristian went to camp with my cousin Abby, and my aunt Lisa was his "Lagoon" Leader.

Paris Shirt

On Wednesday, Ava picked out her Paris shirt to wear... here she is pointing to the Eiffel Tower since that's where Nannie and Grampie went. Oh...And Nannie, Ava wants to know if you've seen Fancy Nancy in Paris? :) Here's Ava helping me make some zucchini bread.
Auntie came over to have dinner with us on Wednesday
Cristian was so excited that Auntie brought him this movie!! The Tale of Despereaux.

Girls Night

Monday night I met my cousins Julianne and Christina at outback for dessert, then Juj and I went and saw the movie The Ugly Truth (Christina had already seen it...) We had a fun night!!

Happy Birthday Kaylee

Monday we went to our friend Kaylee's birthday party! The kids get so excited to go to bday parties!!

Carter and I did some swimming too, but right when we got out, I wrapped a towel around him to dry him off, and he fell asleep. So, he took a nap in the stroller wearing his wet suit :) Probably helped keep him cool!!

Baseball Videos

Ava has really been enjoying playing baseball!! Here she is on first base after one of her hits. I did not take very many pictures because as soon as I turned my little camera on the battery light was flashing.
